If you are an East alumnus, former faculty member, or current faculty member, and a member of The East High Alumni Page, you may request to join the discussion group. These discussions can also be part of a listserve, that is, members can chose the option to have the message, or it's title, sent to them via e-mail every time a message is posted. These feature are now hosted by Yahoo and you must be a Yahoo member (free) to join the group. Please reference your name as known at East, class year & e-mail address in the comments section when you send the request to Yahoo join the discussion board.

DISCUSSION BOARD           CHAT
The discussion board is a feature that allows you to post messages and respond to other posted messages.

The Chat facility allows alumni to send messages which are seen by and can be responded to by all that are logged into the Chat facility. This is "live" chat, it is not saved for later viewing and is for real time interactive message exchange.

Blogs are all the rage, so we thought we'd give you the opportunity to see if you like an East High Alumni Blog any better than you've taken to the discussion boards we've offered. You can read the blog simply by going to the blog site. To post messages to it, you have to join Google's blogger community, but that is free and relatively painless.
