Some of those attending a gathering of old friends, April 25, 2002, in downtown Memphis. This get together was first proposed by Jimmy Pilcher ('68) for the autumn 2001, especially as a reunion of old friends with Charlie Willis. Charlie had been diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2001. With Jimmy on one of his relatively rare visits from California, it was thought it would be a great time for these old friends to gather together. Charlie was really the hub of this group and sadly, he died in November. Nevertheless, the old friends gathered, rased their glasses in memory of Charlie. It was a fun and rewarding night. As Jimmy said, "this night is about Charlie."
