[The following was posted March 19, 2000] - The East High Class of 1953 is going beyond the theory of mini-reunions held once or twice a year. Class members from the third graduating class of the school are meeting every month at a local restaurant to enjoy good company and dinner, sometimes joined by others who graduated in other years close to theirs.. The gathering is usually the fourth Thursday of each month at an east Memphis restaurant. It is reported that about 14 people are tyically in attendance, and that was the approximate number present last Thursday night.
